First, with the traditional metal armrest, I developed a divot in my arm where my arm rested on the armrest for many years. Dr. Arm is so smooth and very comfortable, I don’t feel that anymore. Our Dr. Arm armrests are crafted from a variety of wood types, including Mahogany, Maple, Walnut, Ebony and more. Since wood is a natural material, it may react to use and changes in weather conditions.
We take great care in the production and finishing process to minimize any potential defects. We use a special natural wax oil finish, but in rare cases, the armrest may lose its smooth feel, especially if exposed to aggressive perspiration.
To maintain the quality and longevity of your armrest, we recommend cleaning it with a dry cotton cloth after each use.
The kit includes 5ml of natural wax oil and the appropriate grade of sandpaper.
